The build sheet shown is a bit tricky to read but it lists the features on this car. Its a bit easier to read the summary provided on the Marti Report shown below.

The Marti Report tells us that this Shelby fastback was built May 2, 1970 which is 10 days ahead of the scheduled build date of May 12, 1970. The Marti Report states that the car was sold May 8, 1970 which agrees with the original purchase order shown further up the page.

The Wimbleton White Shelby came with black vinyl highback bucket seats and a 351- 4 barrel engine.

The performance options were FMX Cruise-O-Matic transmission, 3.25:1 ratio Traction Lock differential, Goodyear Brand Name Tires, Tachometer and trip odometer, Power front disc brakes, and Power steering.

Other options included Sport Deck Rear Seat, AM radio, Tinted glass- complete, Deluxe belts/ warning light, Heavy duty battery, and Visibility Group.

On the original order form it requests a change of color with the note: "paint Jade Green". The car is currently shown as of 2014 when it has obviously been restored to factory specifications as a Wimbledon White car again. In this image you can see how deep the offset of the front wheel inner dish. Modern wheelmakers can create an authentic looking factory style mag wheel but offer 15 inch diameter rims or wider offsets than originally available back in the day. This allows an owner to maintain a correct looking car but to fill out the wheelwells a bit more and increase traction without resorting to the modern big wheels and low profile tires which simply look incongruous on a 1970s car.

The interior has been redone. Note the clock in the passenger side dash board. Early Cougar XR7s used to place the oil gauge over on this side of the dash, then the XR7 and Mustangs in 1969 got it organized with essential instruments in front of driver and clock in front of passenger.
