ALL STAR FORD, Olympia, WA/ 877-860-8309

dealer all star ford ollymipia wa

All Star Ford is located at 1925 Cooper Point Road SW, Olympia, Washington. All Star Ford was also located at 3121 Pacific Avenue SW, Olympia. At the start of 2013 All Star Ford had 193 new vehicles in stock, with seven Mustangs and one Shelby GT500. Aside from a couple of new Premium V6s they have a new 2013 GT Premium VIN 1ZVBP8CF8D5232757 with the optional $495.00 paint color "Gottta Have It Green" and the Brembo brake package.

All Star had an interesting new 2013 Mustang GT Premium VIN 1ZVBP8CFXD5275769, Race Red with six speed manual. The looks are pumped up with the option code 402A California Special. This $1,995.00 option is a revival of the popular 1960s option that back in the day provided some of the racy bodywork of a Shelby on a regular Mustang. The new California Special repeats this concept with some of the Boss 302 appearance items such as blacked wheels and the vents in the hood which has 'Hood Stripe number 3' applied. It also has GT black side stripes and a pedestal rear spoiler. Other options are the Electronics ($2,340.00), Comfort ($650.00), Shaker Pro ($1,295.00) and the Glass Roof ($1,995.00). MSRP is $43,370.00. It was shipped out by rail Nov 28, 2012.

All Star also had one new 2013 Boss 302 VIN 1ZVBP8CU4D5282778 painted Race Red with the usual Recaro/ Helical and Boss cover options for MSRP of $44,465.00. It was shipped by rail Dec 18, 2012.

All Star's new 2013 Shelby GT500 VIN 1ZVBP8JZ5D5283484 is painted Ingot Silver Metallic and would make a good stealth machine. No side stripes and no chrome, just a vicious 5.8 supercharged engine underhood to take care of business. Like most of the GT500s out there it has the SVT Performance and Track packages, Electronics, Shelby manual Recaro seats, Shaker Pro and Shelby cover for an MSRP of $67,090.00. It was shipped by rail Dec 6, 2012.

The homey look of the dealership was augmented with nice landscaping. To reflect the serenity of the new location it was referred to as Dick Lewis Pontiac Cadillac Park.

Lewis was also a drag race sponsor for about 2 seasons with the 'Park Tiger' 1966 GTO. The name Park Tiger referred to the Park theme of the new dealership building.

PAULEY MOTORS INC (Chrysler Dodge Plymouth), Shelton, WA

Pauley Motors was a Dodge dealership located in Shelton, Washington owned by Bud Pauley. Originally located at the corner of Railroad and First Street the original building was torn down May, 1963 (along with a nearby Shelton Feed Store building) to make room for a relocation of a Richfield Super Service station operated by Mr. & Mrs. John D. Long. Pauley Motors relocated to land across the alley purchased for the relocated franchise still at Railroad and First.

In 1972 Pauley assimilated a Plymouth franchise from another dealer to become a Plymouth-Dodge dealership. A 1978 newspaper ad shows that they carried the full Chrysler Dodge Plymouth line. The ad has a cartoon character "Lil Sarg who 'sez' "You deserve a big new car!" Ads told you to see either Ton Griese, Bud Knutzen, or Don Pauley. It seems that original owner Bud had passed on the torch by this time. The ad also states that Pauley is growing weekly. Ironically the dealership was shut down soon afterwards due to Chrysler corporations first bankruptcy.

The Black 2013 Camaro ZL1 VIN 2G1FZ1EP1D9801889 keeps it simple with options, standing pat with the ZL1 which includes anything you could need: a 6.2L supercharged 580 hp 556 lb-ft of torque monster engine funnelled through a six speed manual into a 3.73 ratio limited slip. Wheels are black 10 spoke forged aluminum 20" x 10" front and 20" x 11" rear with 285/35ZR20 front and 305/35ZR20 rears. The body has a carbon fiber insert in the hood, unique spoilers splitters and side moldings.

The other ZL1 is Crystal Red Tintcoat VIN 2G1FZ1EP2D9804249 and is a few thousand cheaper partly due to not having the sun roof the black one has.

VAN CLEVE FORD INC, Morton, WA (formerly Van Cleve Motors) 877-962-2490 (drag racing sponsor)

Van Cleve Ford Inc is located at 2nd and Adams, Morton, Washington. The dealership was formerly known as Van Cleve Motors and was initially established in Eatonville, Washington.

George Van Cleve and Madge Van Cleve purchased a building from her brother Clint in 1934 and opened a garage selling gasoline. Van Cleve Motors sold Fords through Titus Ford in Tacoma, Washington.

In 1952 the Ford dealership in Morton, Washington burned down. The Van Cleves bought the building and re opened it Oct, 1953 by George Van Cleve. Jim Van Cleve and his wife Joan managed the Morton location while George Sr, Madge and their eldest son, George, Jr 'Lad' Van Cleve ran the Eatonville location.

Jim and Joan were both racers. Jim raced a 1956 Ford Crown Victoria at the races and eventually moved onto a 1967 Ford Fairlane 427. Jim's son, Jim Van Cleve, Jr also got into drag racing. Joan had trouble getting into the drivers seat with those two racing all the time and got her own ride: a 1962 Ford Galaxie 406.

The dealership also carried an inventory of performance parts at the time.

Despite being a small rural location people came from out of town to buy cars from the service oriented family business. Their popularity enabled them to win a sales contest built around the Mustang. In 1965 the dealership won a Mustang and all expenses paid trip to meet Lee Ioccoca in Dearborn, Michigan.

Van Cleve sponsored NASCAR racer Tobey Butler during the 1990s on the Northwest tour.

Jim Van Cleve, died in 2007 and his Fairlane racer was bought by Pat Gerek who owns a speed shop in Park Hall, Maryland. He embarked on a restoration as well as racing the car in NHRA to see if he could beat the old Van Cleve record with the car.

The Eatonville building was torn down in 2011.

In winter, 2018 Van Cleve had 69 new vehicles in stock, 5 of which were cars, including 2 new Mustangs. In keeping with their old performance image one was a 2017 GT and the other was a new 2016 Shelby GT-350
