AIRPORT DRIVE-IN, Ottawa, ON

The Airport Drive-In was located on 3600 Uplands Drive near Uplands Airport, Ottawa, Ontario in an area known as Gloucester. The Airport was renamed Ottawa International Airport later in 1964. (In 1993 it was renamed yet again this time as Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport).

The grand opening of the Airport Drive-In took place at 8:00 PM, May 15, 1970 showing "The Beatles Let It Be". The Drive-In was advertised as the largest Drive in theater in Canada with 1,146 car capacity. It closed in the 1990s and was converted into additional airport parking.

ALADDIN DRIVE-IN, Ottawa, ON

The Aladdin Drive-In, was located on 4004 Albion Road, Ottawa, Ontario from about 1951 until the 1990s. This was the 3rd drive in to open in Ottawa. The first movie shown was "A Star Is Born".

AUTO SKY DRIVE-IN, Ottawa, ON

The Auto Sky Drive-In was located on Fisher Avenue at the intersection of Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario during the late 1940s until the 1980s. Along with the Britannia Drive-In this was one of the first drive-ins in Ottawa. Kids under 12 and 'invalids' received free admission.

THE 5 DRIVE-IN, Oakville, ON

The 5 Drive-In is located at 2332 Ninth Line,Oakville, Ontario and was still open in 2017.

THE BRITANNIA DRIVE-IN,, Ottawa, ON

The Britannia Drive-In was located on Highway 17, Ottawa, Ontario from the 1940s until the 1996. The later street address given for this drive-in was 3090 Carling Avenue. Along with the Auto Sky this was the first drive-in theater in Ottawa and when it closed in 1996 it was the last remaining drive-in in Ottawa.

Highway 17 was renamed Regional Road 171 in 1998.  The Brittania Cinema 6 was built on this location and then later redeveloped as The Coliseum movie theater.

CAN-VIEW DRIVE-IN, Fonthill, ON

Can-View Drive-In is located at 1956 Highway #20 (Highway #20 & #406) , Fonthill, ON. The drive in was still in operation as of 2017.

THE DOCKS DRIVE-IN, Toronto, ON

The Docks Drive-In opened in 2001 and is located at 11 Polson Street, Toronto, Ontario and combines a golf driving range and drive-in theater down by the water. The 2017 era price of admission is $25.00 per car regardless of occupant load (as many as can legally fit in the vehicle).

GUELPH'S MUSTANG DRIVE-IN THEATRE, Guelph, ON

Guelph’s Mustang Drive-In Theatre was located at 5012 Jones Baseline, Guelph, Ontario. The drive in closed around 2012.

The North East Drive-In was the first drive in to open in Toronto, Ontario in 1947.

The North West Drive-In was the second drive in to open in Toronto, Ontario in 1948.

THE NORTH YORK DRIVE-IN THEATER, Sharon, Ontario (became The Stardust Drive in Theater)

The North York Drive-In Theater is located at 893 Mount Albert Road  Sharon, Ontario. The theater is still open as of 2017 under a new name: The Stardust Drive in Theater.

Polson Pier Drive-In is located at 11 Polson Street,, Toronto, Ontario. The theater charged $15.00 per car during the 2000s. The location was a golf driving range during the day. This later became The Docks Drive-In.

PORT HOPE DRIVE-IN, Cobourg, ON (oldest operating drive-in in Canada- 1952)

Port Hope Drive-In is located at 2141 Theatre Rd S, ,Cobourg, ON. This is the oldest operating drive-in in Canada. It was opened in 1952.

The Queensway Drive-In was located near the Queensway Highway north of Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario from 1964 until the 1980s.

SKY WAY DRIVE-IN, Stoney Creek, ON (first drive-in opened in Canada 1946)

Sky Way Drive-In was located in Stoney Creek, Ontario. This was the first drive-in opened in Canada. The drive in opened in 1946. It was torn down to make way for a shopping mall in 1975.

STAR-TOP DRIVE-IN, Ottawa, ON

The Star-Top Drive-In was located on 1400 Cyrville Road, Ottawa, Ontario from about 1951 until the 1970s. In a last ditch effort to stay open it converted into an adult only X rated drive in during the 1970s. I bet a lot of kids snuck through the fences to watch the screens after that switch occurred.
